My new series, Bottled, is made from repurposed perfume bottles. Perfume is often marketed as desire in liquid form, promising beauty, sensuality, and power. The bottle becomes a fetish object, packaging emotions and fantasies into consumer goods. In this context, it reflects how even the most intimate and ephemeral aspects of life, such as scent or identity, are commodified in contemporary culture.
