2020-2021

The Dots necklaces were inspired by my master’s studies at the Sandberg Instituut, where we researched the possibilities of collectivity in art. The necklaces 21 : 1 and 13 More Dots continue my ongoing inquiry into individual identity within the context of intrinsic social bonds. Moving away from the uniformity of material and scale, these pieces use variation, distance, and proximity to explore collectivity and the formation of shared identity through multiplicity and cooperation.
