Once Upon A Time

Once Upon A Time is a continuation of my chain-based series, which reflects on notions of identity in the modern world. In this work, I explored the idea of large chains made of smaller ones, creating a tension between the mass-produced and the hand-crafted. The large chain links are one of a kind, yet they are built from small industrial chains and even replicate their forms. With this work, I aim to both celebrate and question the supremacy of uniqueness over the output of production lines, creating a metaphor for individualism in the modern era.
